Jimmy McFarlane’s team will do battle with local rivals Romford on Monday August 28

Hornchurch will start the new Isthmian North season at home to Soham Town Rangers on August 12.

Jimmy McFarlane’s men lost out in the play-off semi-finals in the 2016/17 campaign, but will hope to do better this time around.

Urchins will aim to get off to a fast start by winning against the Greens at Bridge Avenue and don’t have to wait long to face local rivals Romford.

The two old foes do battle at Hornchurch on Monday August 28 – the Bank Holiday weekend.

McFarlane takes his team to Ship Lane for the return meeting with Romford on Boxing Day before hosting Brentwood Town on New Years Day.

Urchins final game of the season is on April 28 away to Waltham Abbey and Hornchurch will hope they are in the top two when the regular league campaign ends with two teams going up automatically this season and another through the play-offs.
