Hornchurch will host Bostik South East side East Grinstead Town in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Urchins progressed into this stage of the competition after sealing a 1-0 victory against Southern League Premier South side Harrow Borough in the first qualifying round thanks to a Brad Warner goal.

Jimmy McFarlane’s side bagged £6,000 in prize money thanks to that win.

They only entered the competition at the first qualifying round this season due to being promoted to the Bostik Premier Division last season.

They will now be keen to progress through another round of the competition and bag £9,000 in prize money to help them in the league this season.

Their opponents The Wasps have had a torrid start to the season and lost all four of their league fixtures but they did beat Fleet Town 2-1 in the first qualifying round of the cup competition.

Goals came from George Landais and on-loan striker Jordy Mongoy in that victory.

Elsewhere, Billericay Town have also been handed a home tie and they will come up against Southern Football League Premier Division side Burnham at the AGP Arena.

The cup matches will be played on Saturday, September, 22.
