Hornchurch and Barking must both hit the road for their second qualifying round ties in the FA Cup.

Urchins, having beaten local rivals Romford 1-0 on Sunday thanks to a goal from defender Nathan Cooper, have been handed a trip to the winners of Wednesday night’s replay between Hertford Town and Bostik North rivals Grays Athletic.

They drew 1-1 at Hertford on Saturday and will try again at Parkside in midweek and should Grays be the ones to progress, Urchins will travel in high spirits having already won on the artificial surface at Aveley’s new home.

Barking, meanwhile, face a tough trip to National South outfit Dartford, after their 4-0 win at Gorleston on Saturday.

Justin Gardner’s men can expect to play in front of a big crowd at Princes Park and winners in the second qualifying round will pick up £4,500 in prize money.
