Free entry for ‘Great Football Experiment’

Local Sunday League team Ivory FC will take on an England Legends XI at Dagenham & Redbridge’s Victoria Road ground on Sunday (2pm).

Entry is free and the match represents the conclusion of Nivea’s ‘Great Football Experiment’ which has seen the local outfit receive specialist coaching in a bid to improve their performances.

And it will see the likes of Harold Wood cricketer Brad Ayling — who plays in goal for Ivory — come up against Clive Allen, Paul Walsh, Tony Woodcock and Luther Blissett, among others.

Ivory are currently flying high in Division One of the Brentwood Sunday League and drew 1-1 with Atletico Trotters last weekend.

England (probable): Ian Walker, Viv Anderson, Nigel Winterburn, Alvin Martin, Rob Jones, Mark Wright, Ray Parlour, Clive Allen, Paul Walsh, Luther Blissett, Tony Woodcock.
