Dagenham & Redbridge boss Peter Taylor is expecting a tough opponent in Aldershot Town this evening.
Daggers travel to The Electrical Services Stadium as both sides look to pick up their first victory of the National League campaign.
Boss Taylor praised Gary Waddock who will be in the opposite dugout for the team’s he always puts together.
“They’ve had a lot of changes but Gary Waddock always puts out a good team,” he said.
“He’s a very good and experienced manager, not as experienced as me, but no we’re expecting a tough game without doubt.
“They’re like us, they’ve got some young players in there and a few loans, but it’s always a good place to go and play.”
The former England caretaker boss revealed there are no new injury concerns ahead of the match and is happy with his options after taking Lamar Reynolds off at half-time for new signing Tomi Adeloye in their 2-2 draw with Maidenhead United on Saturday.
“It was just a change, it wasn’t going right for him and I think he lost a bit of confidence and we weren’t looking very good at that time, so I just felt as though we needed a change.”
He also believes Alexander McQueen will be a good option after netting off the bench on his debut.
“Tottenham Academy that is you get taught properly.
“It was a through ball that wasn’t probably meant for Tomi there but it’s gone over his head or Tomi’s won the header I can’t remember, but he had to control that well Alexander, and I thought he took it really well.”
Dagenham & Redbridge will also come up against former Daggers midfielder Luke Howell who left the club in the summer after his contract expired and joined the Shots.
