Daggers forward missed last weekend’s win at Woking with a back injury
Dagenham & Redbridge could be without striker Oliver Hawkins for the second game in succession as a back injury threatens to rule him out of the National League clash with Wrexham.
The ex-Hemel Hempstead Town forward missed last weekend’s win at Woking, with attacker Paul Benson coming into the starting XI.
It was hoped that Hawkins would recover in time for the visit of the Robins, but whether he does remains to be seen.
Otherwise, it should be a case of as you were for Daggers, even if they do face two games across the Bank Holiday weekend.
With Wrexham, on paper at least, likely to provide the sterner opposition, Daggers boss John Still may be encouraged to play his strongest squad.
That means Elliot Justham will once again line up in goal, with a back four of Curtley Williams, Scott Doe, Craig Robson and Joe Widdowson in front of him.
Andre Boucaud, who has been called up to the Trinidad & Tobago squad for a friendly next month, will partner Matt Robinson in midfield.
After a stunning goal against the Cards, Jordan Maguire-Drew will keep his place on the right wing, with Fejiri Okenabirhie on the other flank and Luke Guttridge just behind the striker.
Luke Pennell (ACL) remains out for the forseeable future, but Luke Howell is nearing a return from a knee injury that has ruled him out since the start of the season.
Probable XI: Justham; Williams, Doe, Robson, Widdowson; Boucaud, Robinson; Maguire-Drew, Guttridge, Okenabirhie; Benson
