Club raise funds for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance
Essex Moto Gymkhana staged a successful first event at North Weald Airfield on Sunday.
Elm Park resident Dave Pinto, who competes in the sport across the UK and abroad, was joined by club members Paul Brown, Tom Barron, Anita Barron, Rob Alexander and sport owner Andrew Freeman.
The day also saw Mark and Trina Van Driel and Paul Todd, who formed the Two Brothers Racing Stunt Team, perform as they helped raised funds for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
On the event, Pinto said: “Only a few club members have done a public demonstration day before and it was very interesting to see the fun we can have in front of the public.
“We tried to raise awareness for the Air Ambulance and our own sport and have plans for next year now to make it even bigger and better.
“We have potentially been invited to perform at two more Essex motorcycle shows such was the success.”
