Upminster saw their long winning streak in Shepherd Neame Essex League Division One brought to an end by new leaders Buckhurst Hill.
After putting the home side into bat at Roding Lane, Upminster saw Hendro Puchert hit a six and 12 fours on his way to 96 from just 97 balls before falling to Alan Ison, who had also removed Ryan Karunakaran.
Hill captain Prashant Chand-Bajpal (43), Ricky Reynolds (41 not out) and Russell Beckett (24) also made starts, while Nabeel Aziz and Oliver Peck picked up a wicket apiece as the hosts declared on 245-4 after 47 overs.
It proved more than enough, though, as Upminster struggled with the bat, losing Kiran Kullar, Shahbaz Butt and Adam Quested for single-figure scores early on.
Farid Butt hit two sixes and four fours in a quickfire 30 off just 18 balls, but Ison (15), Harry Jenkins and Shafiq Rahman also fell cheaply.
Aziz hit a six and three fours in his unbeaten 30 from 35 balls, while tailenders Ejaz Khan and Peck also found the boundary and made double figures, but Upminster were all out for 134 in the 32nd over.
Defeat left Upminster in sixth place, while Hill now lead Hutton at the top of the table by a single point.
