Captain Baber Choudhary put the home side into bat after winning the toss and saw Ishaq Khan strike before a run had been scored.

Raheel Ahmed and Arsalan Khan also got in on the act to leave Benfleet 23-3, before Mo Amin (2-24) bagged a brace to make it 55-5.

Khalid Sarwar then ran through the lower order to claim figures of 5-11 as Benfleet were dismissed for 94 in the 40th over.

Brentwoods lost Abid Alaracu to a seven-ball duck and Shazad Khan for single figures, but Ramesh Gunalan maintained his excellent form with the bat by hitting 42 off 41 balls, including seven fours to take the visitors to 60-3.

Choudhary (25 not out) and Minhaz Bhad then completed the task without any further loss as Brentwoods reached their target in the 22nd over.
