Broxhill Road outfit will be in action on Saturday and Sunday

Havering-atte-Bower are set for a big weekend and will be looking to finish their home campaign in the Mid-Essex League Division Two with another victory.

The Broxhill Road club are set to host to sixth-placed Little Waltham on Saturday aiming to finish strongly and keep alive an outside chance of finishing in the top two and securing promotion.

After a tough clash with Little Waltham, Havering will have a fun contest on Sunday against local football side Hornchurch, of the Bostik North.

The annual event sees the Bridge Avenue club take on their Broxhill Road rivals for a friendly cricket match.

A race night will take part in the evening with the bar open until late and a BBQ on during the day.

But Havering will focus on beating Little Waltham first and aim to bounce back following Saturday’s defeat.

Away to leaders Great Waltham, they could only score 68 in reply to the hosts 273-4 and lost heavily.
