Polo Field side lost by 84 runs at Buckhurst Hill last weekend

Shepherd Neame Essex League Division One leaders Hutton will look to avoid a third straight defeat when they visit Upminster on Saturday.

At Buckhurst Hill last week, the Polo Field club suffered an 84-run defeat that saw their lead at the top cut.

Bowling first, Joseph Parry took 4-42 as Hutton dismissed their hosts for 201.

Though Julian Whetstone top scored wiht 38 in reply, the Polo Field outfit were all out for 117 in reply.

It was a disappointing loss for Hutton, who will look to bounce back on Saturday.

When the sides met earlier in the season, the Polo Field outfit recorded an impressive six-wicket win after chasing down 226.

Parry recorded a five-wicket haul in that game, while Paver samshed an unbeaten century for Hutton in the victory.

With the Polo Field side stuttering of late and Upminster now bang in form, Hutton may need some similarly strong individual displays to triumph on Saturday.
