Old Brentwoods got the better of Ardleigh Green in their Shepherd Neame Essex League Division Three derby at Central Park.
Captain Baber Choudhary put the hosts into bat after winning the toss and Raheel Ahmed dismissed Tom Gentle early.
Chris Cook scored just six as he put on 52 for the second wicket with Paul Hurworth, who hit nine fours in his 49 off 45 balls.
The pair fell in quick succession, though, and Green slipped to 80-5 before Adam Thain (34) and captain Lloyd Edwards put on 93 for the sixth wicket.
Edwards hit 14 fours in his 69 off 71 balls, with tailenders Randell Thomas and Jamal Chaudhry reaching double figures as Green closed on 222-9.
Brentwoods used nine different bowlers, with seven of them claiming a wicket apiece, and Ramesh Gunalan hit four fours in a quick 21 in reply.
Abid Alaracu (52) struck five boundaries in a 124-run stand with skipper Choudhary, who was unbeaten on 99 after hitting 18 fours in an 82-ball innings as he side secured an eight-wicket win.
Choudhary put on an unbroken 73 with Khalid Sarwar, who struck two sixes and six fours in his unbeaten 41 off just 25 deliveries.
