Billericay kept their promotion bid on track with victory over Division One rivals Harlow.
The visitors chose to bat after winning the toss and saw their openers make a solid start.
But Billericay’s bowlers combined well to eventually dismiss Harlow for 180 in 50 overs, with Ross Poulton (3-26) the pick of the bunch.
Andy Smith (2-42) and Adam Marchant (2-50) nabbed braces for the hosts, who lost David Hinnigan cheaply in reply.
Aaron Curtis (64) and captain Lee Knight combined well, thouugh, and Poulton completed another good all-round performance with an unbeaten 32 as they sealed a seven-wicket victory in the 38th over.
Skipper Knight was unbeaten on 40 at the close as his side kept hold of second place ahead of Hadleigh, with leaders Orsett now six points clear at the top of the table after beating South Woodford, batting first, with only two games left in the race for a Premier Division place.
