Toby Howe Ground side beat Hadleigh by two-wickets last weekend

Billericay go in search of a second straight win in the Shepherd Neame Essex League Premier Division when they visit Southend-on-Sea & EMT on Saturday.

The Toby Howe Ground club head into the game off the back of a two-wicket win at home to Hadleigh & Thundersley last weekend.

After electing to bowl first, Billericay restricted their visitors to 170-7 as Ross Poulton took 3-42.

Darren Ironside then top scored with 33 for the Toby Howe Ground side as they completed their chase in the 45th over.

Billericay will hope to follow that win up with another success on Saturday as they look end any lingering fears over relegation.

The Toby Howe Ground will look to complete the double over Southend this weekend, having won the previous meeting between the sides in June.

Poulton hit a century for Billericay in that success, while Robert Rayner and Ironside took three wickets apiece.
