Porter named best home boxer on Five Star show

Albie Porter picked up the best home boxer award on Five Star’s second home show of the season.
The Harold Hill club were able to put on another fine show that saw plenty of promising prospects in action.
Porter was awarded the prize for the best Five Star boxer on the night after winning his bout on points.
Also triumphing on the show were Tommy O’Brien, Mikie McCarthy, Tommy Mitchell and Umer Khan, who won the Joe Brown Award.
Sadly, there were defeats for Brennan Humm, Lewis Chesney, Arjan Danota and Shea Kappes.
Lewis Pullinger, Micah Robinson and Martin Sweeney, meanwhile, all took part in skills contests in the show.
Danson’s Andalous Ghoumrassi was named the best away boxer on the night.
“Thanks to all the officials and to a great Five Star team who help make these shows happen; they would not be possible without you,” said Edward Kelly of Five Star.
