Ethan Tisbury, 15, was up against Jed Davies (Barnstaple ABC) at 60kg and conceded 12 months in age and 10 fights worth of experience.

But the Romford teenager, in only his ninth outing, began well and caught his southpaw opponent with right-hand leads, producing a competetive performance and finishing strongly to run out winner by a unanimous points decision.

Tisbury also took the best boxer of thenight award for his efforts, while 20-year-old clubmate Tom Lickford faced a rematch with david Feliciano.

Lickfold also began brightly, catching an aggressive rival on the counter in the first round and then digging deep in the next two rounds to claim a points success of his own.
