Billericay ended up well beaten by Chingford in their latest Shepherd Neame Essex League Premier Division outing.
Tall left-armer Paul Walter (2-53) struck early with the new ball, but conceded 14 wides during his spell and saw his Essex team-mate Dan Lawrence (33) hold firm before falling to Robert Rayner (3-20) to leave the visitors 84-4.
Ross Poulton (3-12) mopped up as Chingford were dismissed for 149 in 38 overs but Billericay lost both opening batsmen without scoring.
Walter (22) top scored for the home side before falling to Lawrence’s leg spin, before Peter McDermott (5-19) ran through the rest of the Billericay batting order.
Wicketkeeper Aryan Gupta claimed five catches off McDermott’s bowling as Billericay were bundled out for 91 inside 27 overs.
