Archant

Four Havering 90 Joggers flew over to Frankfurt to compete in the Mainova Marathon at the weekend.

And Pam Howard set a new best of 4:57.55 in cold and windy conditions, as Bruce Mail and Camille Whitcher made their debuts over the 26.2-mile distance.

Other members tackled various parkruns, with Bruce Knowles (25.17) beating his course best at Inverness, as others competed at Barking, Kent and Maldon.

And a group of 46 were in action at Harrow Lodge and Raphael Park, with Maria Brill (32.00), Tony Gray (27.57), Debbie Mardell (26.49) and Joanne Reeves (20.55) all setting best times.

Havering 90 Joggers meet at Abbs Cross Health & Fitness Centre in Abbs Cross Lane on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

And anyone lucky enough to get a place in the 2019 London Marathon through the recent ballot are welcome to come and start their training at the club.
