Harold Wood Running Club had plenty of members take part in the third series of the Chingford League 5K at Hog Hill.

The club also had 22 members take part in five different parkrun locations including Barking, Basildon, Bushy, Harrow Lodge and Raphael.

Joy Reid (29:21) and Jackie Smith (32:32) both achieved new park run personal best times.

Chris King and Tony Panton finished in second and third at Basildon.

Natalie Joyce, who has ran at 14 different locations, racked up 50 park runs in style by completing the Bushy run.

Her park run journey began back in April 2014 and she completed 21 events by the end of the year.

A handful of parkruns were completed in 2015 and 2016, but it was when she joined the first Introduction to Running group of 2018, where she became a regular.

Joyce has since done 21 park runs and achieved eight personal best times.
