Harold Wood Running Club members had a quiet week but did still manage to explore some new park runs.

On Saturday, seven members took to five different park runs, including Basildon, Bournemouth, Dartford Heath, Preston and Raphael’s Park in Romford.

Richard Rockliffe and Julie Bradd took part in the Bournemouth run while Rosie Hatch and Adam Bartlett ran the Preston circuit to add new runs to their CV.

Elsewhere, Abhishek Anand completed his second official 5k race since completing our Introduction to Running Programme.

The club also had 13 new members join this week for the new Introduction to Running plan.

They also confirmed they will have 46 members competing in the 24 hour Spitfire Scramble relay challenge at Hornchurch Country Park this weekend.
