Harold Wood Running Club were out in force to celebrate two members recently getting married in Sorrento at the latest Raphael parkrun last weekend.

The runners swapped their green t-shirts for tux t-shirts to mark the couple’s celebrations, while Kerry and David themselves run the course hand in hand, before running under a wedding arch formed by their fellow clubmates.

Adam Bartlett finished the run seventh overall out of 209 runners on the day with a new personal best time of 19.02.

And James Coker and Tony Panton were close behind in 12th and 13th place.

Stuart Herring completed his first parkrun in a time of 28.27, while Jackie Smith and Lynsey Mann both recorded personal bests and youngster Zeph also beat his best time in the junior category.

Harold Wood Running Club will take over all of the roles at Raphael parkrun on September 23 and are holding a charity run on October 1.
