Harold Wood Running Club had over 200 entries for their charity five-mile run, which was started by Sir Trevor Brooking.
Havering’s Rob Warner won in a record 27.09, ahead of clubmate Gavin Watts (27.27) as Wood’s Clare Brinsmead finished as third female and Linda Day as first vet.
Wood also had 19 members in parkrun action, at Basildon, Raphael, Southwark, Tonbridge and Upton Country House.
Patrick Thoeung (21.59), Joy Reid (30.43) and Stephanie Elsey (33.11) all set personal bests.
Wood also made their debut in the Chingford League, as 14 members ran at Hog Hill, and Laura Smith ran her first 10k at Lee Valley in 1:12.
Second-claim Mark Dalby covered 5k, 10k and half marathon distances at the Bournemouth Marathon Festival as Corinne Mouhot, Donna Ball, Gill Brogan, Leanne Mitchell, Maggie Kelly, Sharon Howlett and Tracy Giddings did the Memory Walk at Stratford.
