Athletics: Havering ‘90 Joggers members set new parkrun bests

It was a fantastic weekend for Havering ’90 Joggers members, with four athletes setting new personal bests at local parkruns.
The club also had 11 runners taking turns running 22 stages around the greenbelt of London at the Green Belt Relay completing 220 miles in 33 hours and six minutes to come 46th out of 50 teams.
On Sunday, Havering ’90 Joggers had 32 runners competing in the Boxted 10km event.
Barry Smith was third overall, while Martin Chester was the fastest veteran, Morgan Campbell was the fastest woman and Clive Tweedie was first in his age category.
The club also had two members taking part in the Hackney half marathon and three members competing in the Outlaw Half Triathlon in Nottingham.
That was where Jon Warren beat his personal best by 13 minutes, coming home in a superb time of 4:48.32.
