Harold Wood Running Club trio Hayley Smith, Scott Brown and Richard Rockliffe had a great time at the Great Baddow 10 Mile race.

Smith was the first club member home in one hour and 27 minutes, followed by Brown in 1:33 and Rockliffe in 1:40.

Elsewhere, 10 club members were in parkrun action, either at the Raphael event or the Burgess race.

There were three personal bests this week, with Adam Bartlett going under 18 minutes for the first time to clock 17.55, while Helen Jenner (27.40) and Natalie Joyce (28.52) also set new marks.

Parisa Skeldon took part in yet another 10K at the Olympic Stadium, this time for the British Heart Foundation which she finished in a time of 1:02.54.

The club also saw several members take part in the first Scramble Spitfire 10k route of the calendar year in preparation for the 24-hour event, which takes place in June.
