Harold Wood Running Club members turned up the heat at Raphael Park on Saturday as they hosted their second park run takeover of the year.

The club celebrated the end of the second introduction to running programme with nine of the participants taking on the run.

They also welcomed the return of Chase the Pacer with eight members Gurj Bansal, Tony Brooks, Craig Brown, James Coker, Charlie Fisher, Chris King, Ruth Quince and Tony Rawson donning yellow vest and being the pacers.

The club produced more than 70 personal best times on the course.

Elsewhere, Parisa Skeldon celebrated her 50th park run in style by travelling to Denmark, where she tackled a new challenge.

In total this weekend, the club saw 25 members take part in parkrun across five locations, Harrow Lodge, Amager Fælled (Denmark), Bath Skyline, Burgess Park and Raphael Park.
