Havering coach is too strong for opposition

Havering’s Aimee Sell celebrated her 11th individual national title at the English Karate Federation’s National Championships in Leicester at the weekend.

Sell, the EKF junior kata coach and number one ranked woman in the country, proved too strong for the opposition as she eased through the rounds to reach the final with a series of perfect scores.

Facing Manchester’s Natalie Payne in the decider, Sell performed ‘papuren’ as her opponent chose ‘chatanyara’ and a 5-0 win earned the local martial artist yet another crown ahead of representing England at the WKF European Championships in Turkey.
