Romford are all set for their next stop of their FA Vase adventure but have no desire to see it end just yet says manager Dan Spinks.
Boro face an away game against Hilltop in the fifth round of the national competition, just three rounds from a place in the Wembley final.
And while the boss of the Essex Senior League side is so proud of what has already been achieved, that has all been the prelude to what comes next.
He said: "It’s a big achievement to be in the last 16. There were 597 teams who started in this competition so we're proud to be where we are.
"But we don't want stop now, we want to finish first. That's the plan.
"We'll prepare ourselves right, like we would for any big game, and I expect they'll be a decent side.
"I don't think their league form represents how good they really are.
"We had a good training session on Tuesday and the boys are buzzing for it.
"It’s probably the biggest game a lot have played in but we've got a bit of experience in the squad and some have actually been to Wembley a few times previously.
"That helps.
"It’s just getting ready for Saturday now. We’re planning and preparing and we’ll be in for another session on Thursday for another session and we'll just see how it ends up really."
The build-up has had its share of dramas with question marks over where the game against the Ruislip-based side would be played.
It will now take place 27 miles away from their Middlesex Stadium home, round the M25 on Cobham's artificial surface.
That was all confirmed on Monday night but is not something Spinks expects to be a problem.
He said: "The surface will probably suit them a little bit but we were top of the league on that surface as well so I'm not going to make excuses about what we're playing on or where we're playing.
"It is what it is. We've got to beat what's in front of us, play the hand we're dealt.
"I expect us to put in a proper performance but I can't question the lads. They do that every week.
"We played in a league cup game last week and they didn't give the opposition a sniff.
"And I’m seeing that every week at the moment, there's a really good buzz around the camp and everyone is looking after each other."
That league cup warm-up was a 2-0 win over Little Oakley in the Errington Challenge Cup.
There were a number of changes for that one and a few of them did their chances of playing no harm at all.
"That was part of the team talk," said Spinks, "and I'll be honest with you, they all have the right to come knocking on the door because of some of the boys that did come in were excellent.
"That’s given me more headaches this week.
"The surface has changed my line-up a little bit as it suits a couple of the boys better than it does others.
"It's horses for courses, If we get through, the next round will be different again.
"We'll go with what we've got on Saturday but we're pretty strong and we're fully fit.
"And we'll give it the best go we possibly can, like we have done in every round."
