More than 100 youngsters will be taking master classes in science, maths and computing next month.
Brentwood County High School will welcome the Year 6 students on March 2 for a chance to try out some of the specialist subjects.
During the science class they will work in laboratories separating materials from each other and make table salt from rock salt.
In computing they will make short animations using Macromedia Flash, which they will be able to take home to use in their other schoolwork.
Headteacher Stephen Drew said βIt is always great to be able to work with students from our primary schools and build relationships for the future.β
