POP singer Olly Murs sprinkled a little X-Factor magic around the Romford dog track stadium on Monday (November 15) when he enjoyed a family birthday there.

The Essex-born 26-year-old, who was the runner up in last year’s series, took time out to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans after eating at the venue in London Road.

He later took part in a race presentation that he had sponsored for his family.

Stadium marketing director Jill Ambrose said: “Olly was really friendly and down to earth. He stopped to sign autographs and to have photos taken with customers and staff. He also spoke about his forthcoming appearance on the X-Factor this Sunday, saying he’d been drafted in at the last minute to replace Prince, who had pulled out earlier this week.”
