Woman taken to hospital after crash in Nags Head Lane, Brentwood

A woman was taken to hospital after a crash in Nags Head Lane, Brentwood, yesterday morning.

The woman, whose age is not known, was trapped following the incident, which saw her vehicle leave the road and collide with a wall, Essex Fire and Rescue said.

No other cars were involved.

Fire crews from Brentwood and Ingatestone were on the scene by 9.55am and spent about 25 minutes freeing the woman.

Herts Air Ambulance was called to the scene, but the woman was taken to Queen’s Hospital, Romford, by road ambulance. Her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
