A WOMAN driver miraculously escaped with only minor injuries when the car she was driving clipped another vehicle, flipped and landed on its roof in busy lunchtime traffic.
The blue Ford KA collided with a BMW in Butts Green Road, near the junction with Parkstone Avenue, in Hornchurch, just before midday on Thursday (October 7).
Paramedics and fire services attended.
The woman and the woman driver of the BMW were taken to Queen’s Hospital, in Rom Valley Way, Romford, and released soon after, a police spokesman said.
The road into Hornchurch town centre remained shut until 2.30pm time as police investigated and awaited recovery of the vehicle.
