Police and London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to the scene at around 7am this morning.

A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital after a crash between two cars and a van in Romford.

Police were called just before 7am today (Monday, October 15) to Main Road at the junction of Lodge Avenue, and two ambulance crews were sent to the scene.

The woman in her 60s suffered injuries to her leg and chest and was taken to a north London hospital.

Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

No arrests have been made.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) were also called to the scene and dispatched its hazardous area response team (HART).

Two people were assesed at the scene, and the woman was taken to hospital.

Enquiries continue.
