A woman disturbed two men trying to open her front door using a bent coat hanger.
The 49-year-old was asleep at her home in Elmhurst Drive, Hornchurch when she heard noises coming from downstairs at 3am on May 21.
When she went downstairs she saw the pair trying to force up the UPVC door.
Anyone with information should call the police on 101.
