A woman was cut out of her car after a collision on the M25 last night.

It involved a Honda Civic car and a lorry between junction 30 and 29 near Romford.

The lorry driver administered first aid until paramedics from London Ambulance Service arrived.

Harold Hill firefighters were called at 10.30pm to cut the roof from the car and the woman, 25, who had spinal injuries, was taken to hospital.

The road was re-opened at about 11.40pm.
