A 58-year-old woman was cut free of her car and taken to hospital by ambulance after a road crash last night.
The woman’s green Matiz overturned after it was in collision with the barrier at Gallows Corner just after 7.15pm. The smash left her trapped but secured by a seat belt.
Firefighters from Romford, Hornchurch, Harold Hill and East Ham cut the roof off her car to free her, and she was taken to Queen’s Hospital, Romford, with back pain.
