Woman, 45, mugged for laptop computer in Claremont Gardens, Upminster

A masked robber threatened a 45-year-old woman into handing over her laptop computer.

The victim was carrying her laptop bag in Claremont Gardens, Upminster, at about 7.40pm on Monday, March 4, when a man in dark clothing approached her with his face covered.

Her assailant, who was white and about 25, threatened her and told her to give him the laptop. She threw him the bag, which was in a two-tone chequered design, and ran off.

Anyone who witnessed the mugging is asked to call Romford CID on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
