A yellow warning has been issued across greater London as persistent and heavy rainfall is forecast for today.
The Met Office has that some intense, slow-moving thundery downpours are looking increasingly likely.
In areas hit by heavy rainfall there is a risk of flooding and disruption to travel.
The warning is in place until 10pm today.
