The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning of rain, gales, ice and snow for London.
The city joins the rest of the country in the nationwide warning as a cold westerly airstream spreads across the UK.
Winds of up to 65mph are expected throughout the day and even a 3-5cm of snow is anticipated to settle.
The warning is also set to be in place over the upcoming weekend.
