Warley pupils have been saving their 20p coins for months to raise funds for a charity.
The Ursuline Preparatory School in Great Warley Street held its annual 20p coin trail in aid of the international aid charity, The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD).
A spokeswoman from the school said: "Each school house took turns to place their 20ps in rows along the length of our school hall with Upper Two (Year 6) adding the final touches with their coins.
"St Patrick's were thrilled that they managed to have nearly four lines stretching the length of the hall, making them the house winners.
"Pauline Wilson, headmistress, was overwhelmed by the generosity of the parents and children from the school, as they have collected a staggering £1,053.40 for this very worthwhile charity."
A representative from CAFOD also visited the school to show the children how their 20ps will be helping disadvantaged people overseas.
