Skipper Matty Upson has recovered from the neck injury that kept him out of the draw at Wolves.
WEST HAM club captain Matty Upson is set to return to the starting line-up for Saturday’s game against Newcastle after missing last weekend’s match at Wolves.
Avram Grant revealed: “Matthew Upson had a pain in his back this morning and he could not move his neck.
“He couldn’t play, but he should be all right for the next game.”
The captain is back in full training and is likely to replace Danny Gabbidon in defence.
