Upminster: two teenage boys, one unconscious, rushed to hospital with serious head injuries

Two teenage boys in Upminster, one of them unconscious, were rushed to hospital with serious head injuries last night.

The pair, both 17, were found in Upminster Playing Fields, Hall Lane, just after 8pm on Monday (December 17).

They were taken by ambulance to an East London hospital. It is not yet known whether the most seriously injured boy has regained consciousness.

Police are investigating how the teenagers came by their injuries. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about it is urged to contact DI Ronan McManus at Romford CID on 101.
