Staff at a security firm are celebrating after learning they have reached the shortlist for a top industry award.
Hillis Security Systems based in Gridiron Place, Upminster gained the “Which? Trusted Trader of the Year 2016” nomination last month.
In its commitment to unbiased, independent endorsement, a company cannot put itself forward for one of the national consumer champion’s accolades.
Owner, Vince Hillis said: “It means so much to everyone in the company as our collective efforts have been recognised by Which?”
The company, which employs nine people, had its performance examined over a 12 month period by the consumer watchdog which found the business went the extra mile for its customers.
The security firm will find out if it has won the title in May and this year will mark a double celebration as the business will mark its 20th year in June.
