Students had great fun running, dancing and walking to raise money for Sport Relief.

Nursery children at Oakfields Montessori School, Harwood Hall Lane, Upminster, dressed up in red coloured clothes and had great fun skipping, dancing and running with their teachers in the school grounds. They raised around £60.

Nursery manager Jill Scarlett, said: “The weather was absolutely perfect for our action packed fun run, and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”

Children in Years 3 – 6 participated in a cross country fun run through Pages Wood, Warley and raised £340.

Headteacher Laura Ciftci said: “It was the most perfect afternoon, and the ideal opportunity to make the most of the good weather and enjoy the great outdoors. The energy reverberating around Oakfields was certainly palpable and the children enjoyed themselves immensely.”
