Upminster motorcyclist suffers serious leg injuries in Southend collision

A motorcyclist from Upminster has been taken to hospital after a collision in Southend.

Police are appealing for information after reports of an incident in Eastern Avenue, Southend, at the junction with Bournemouth Park Road, at about 9.45am today.

The man in his 40s sustained serious leg injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident but has since reopened.
