An annual Christmas tree festival organised by a church, returned to the delight of residents.

Organisers at the Upminster Methodist Church, Hall Lane, Upminster, were once again hard at work for this year’s event, setting up trees decorated by schools and charities in the church for good causes.

A mini Christmas market, stalls, a tombola and Santa’s grotto were all part of the festivities to raise money for homeless charity Hope 4 Havering and children’s charity First Step.
