Update: Police hunting for Romford rape suspect

Specialist officers are on the hunt for a man in connection with a rape in Romford on Saturday morning.

Police were called to Crow Lane at 5am where a 20-year-old woman had been punched in the face and raped.

The Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are looking for a man described as white, 5ft 6in and aged 35-40, who was wearing a black leather jacket and a hoodie at the time.

No arrests have been made.
