A man has died after being hit by a train at Harold Wood station.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
British Transport Police (BTP) and the Met attended after being called just before 10.45am.
A BTP spokeswoman said officers will now identify the man and inform his family.
The incident is being treated as non-suspicious.
The station has re-opened after initially closing and trains are now running, although disruption is expected until 3pm.
