Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery outside of Romford station.

Police were called at 3.50 this afternoon (Monday, February 11) to reports of a robbery on Regarth Avenue, and officers were informed that the suspects had been seen boarding a bus.

The bus was stopped a short time later just 200 yards away in South Street at the junction with Gloucester Road, and two people have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

They have been taken to an east London police station where they remain in custody.
