Two boys were knocked down by vehicles this morning in Brentwood in separate incidents.
The first was just after 8am in Rayleigh Road, Hutton. A boy, 12, was injured while crossing the road. The collision involved a blue Ford C Max.
An East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) spokesman said: “The boy who we believe to be 12-years-old received a back injury and following treatment and stabilisation by the ambulance crew at the roadside, he was taken to Basildon Hospital for further care.”
The second incident was in Ingrave Road, Brentwood, when a cyclist, seven, was knocked off his bike after a collision with a double decker bus.
He was taken to Basildon Hospital with minor injuries.
