Tributes have been paid to a mother described as a “true friend” who brightened the lives of her loved ones, after she died in a collision at a Tesco lorry yard.

Jo Cline, 50, was hit by a lorry on Wednesday and trapped underneath at Tesco’s distribution centre at the Beam Reach Business Park, in Consul Avenue, Rainham.

Paramedics battled to save her life, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shocked friends and colleagues spoke of Ms Cline, who was a Tesco lorry driver, as a “joy to be around”.
